Some more great results from the Sunshine Coast Triathlon academy / Protector Aluminium Athletes and Club Members in action over the weekend at Robina for the finale of the Queensland Triathlon Series and at Tweed Enduro

Perfect conditions for racing at Robina for QTS # 5 saw some fast times, with the traditional January event rescheduled to March due to the COVID shutdown in Brisbane which was a win for the athletes with cooler conditions than what we normally see in January.

In the Olympic Distance, Emily Donker (OPEN Female) was backing up form her win at Raby Bay the week before but couldn't replicate the back to back win with 2nd Place. Kim Alexander 1st (50-54) took out his category win and the series champion.

In the Sprint Distance Ingi Doyle 2nd (50-54) was back to her best while Rebecca Howell 3rd (25-29) landed on the podium and was crowned the Series Champion with Rob Burger 7th (55-59). In the Enticer Torah Rose 1st (16-19) and Jorja Matthews 2nd (16-19) both had good races. While in the Kool KIds, Billie Elsum finished off her last 7-9 Years race with a 7th Place. She will move into the 10-11 next season

SCTA Club Members Sam McClarron 7th (U/14 Enticer) and Bella McClarron 14th (10-11 Kool Kids) both raced well.

On the Saturday at the Tweed Enduro over the 1.9/90/21.1 saw Zsolt Dallos back to his best with 1st (40-44) and Angela Vinnicombe 5th (40-44). In the Aquabike of 1.9/90 saw Pauline Ashley back racing for the first time this year with 5th (40-44).
