Another successful weekend of competition for Sunshine Coast Triathlon Academy / Protector Aluminium Athletes over the weekend at Jackie Fairweather Memorial Triathlon in Canberra, Western Sydney 70.3 at Penrith, Bribie Island Triathlon Series Race # 2 and at Australian Primary Schools Athletics Championships in Melbourne.

At Bribie Island for round # 2 of their series saw a small but very competitive crew head down. Kate Schultz took a 2nd Place OPEN Female with her first race back since World Champs. Jordan Gover continued his good form winning 45-49 and 12th Overall. Marilyn Shrapnel 1st (70-74 short course) 2nd places went to Tania Gover (40-44) and Jorja Matthews (15-16 short course) with Jan Harvey filling the podium with a 3rd (55-59)

Very fast and furious racing in Penrith for the Western Sydney 70.3. 2 SCTA Athletes in action with Zsolt Dallos 5th (35-39) and a 2 min PB on that course and Paul Marchant 6th (25-29) in very competitive age groups. Nice work boys

A very chilly Canberra greeted both Chloe Turner and Ryan Marsh that were competing in the Jackie Fairweather Memorial Triathlon over the draft legal format of 750/20/5. Both had solid races in the OPEN Male and Female Waves. Chloe was 7th while Ryan was 10th.

While in Melbourne, Rhianna Corcoran was competing at the Australian Primary School Athletics Championships. The weather was horrendous to start off with but got better over the days of competition. Rhianna competed in 5 events and walked away with 3 x Gold (800m, 200, 100), 1 x Bronze (4 x 100 relay) and a 4th place (discuss) in the 12 Years Girls Multi Class Category. A very impressive haul. Well done
