Another weekend of racing from the Sunshine Coast Triathlon Academy / Protector Aluminium Athletes that were in action over the weekend with the Finale of the Bribie Triathlon Series # 4, Queensland Little Athletics Championships in Townsville and at The Super League Qualifier in Bali.

At Bribie perfect conditions for racing greeted the athletes. Only a small contingent racing with SCTA Club Member Romy Wolstencroft taking out the OPEN Female Title and 3rd overall. Jessica Lee continued her consistency at these events with another top 5 in her category with 5th. 

In the Just Tri It Thomas Clarke took another win in the 15-16 as did Marilyn Shrapnel in the 70-74. Jorja Matthews took out the Female 1500m swim win the day before.

Up in Townsville for the Queensland Little Athletics Championships saw Jericho Pogany PB in both his medal events where he finished 3rd in the 1500m and 800m.

SCTA Club Member Ryan Fisher headed to Bali for the Super League Qualifier in Bali. Some hot, humid conditions and the racing was explosive. Ryan won both days of racing and cemented his spot in the Super League Series. 

The points were added to the National ITU Junior / Youth Series for 2018-19 where Mia Wooldridge took the win ITU Youth B Female Series, while SCTA Junior Scholarship Holder Peyton Craig was 2nd ITU Youth B Male Series

In the Queensland Triathlon Series point score for 2018-19 saw Ella Wooldridge (16-19), Michael Hooper (20-24) and Paul Marchant (25-29) take out their respective category wins. 2nd places went to Jazi Coventry (16-19) and Gary Turner (70-74).  Just missing the podium with 4th was Rebecca Howell (20-24) and Mia Wooldridge (U/14 Enticer). Well done to all that raced the series. Some great results throughout the year. SCTA finished 6th Place in the Clubs Point score.
