In 1995, I had reached the highest level any triathlete had reached on the Sunshine Coast being named in the Australian Junior Elite Team for the World Championships to be held in Mexico.

To progress to the next level I had to relocate to the Gold Coast and train under Master Coach: Col Stewart.

My philosophy now is not about competing for myself, but rather, developing and nurturing athletes on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. SCTA was formed 6 years ago to address the lack of quality triathlon coaching programs and has now evolved into a fully integrated, multi disciplined coaching service dedicated to the sport of triathlon.

SCTA caters for all abilities whether you are a beginner, junior, adult or elite level athlete. I am a fully recognised Level 2 Triathlon Coach through Triathlon Australia. I also have a current child protection card (blue card). I have been appointed Triathlon Australia National Talent Identification and Development Program - Regional Coach - Sunshine Coast.
