Race Updates

Another weekend of racing for Sunshine Coast Triathlon Academy / Protector Aluminium Athletes chasing points for the Australian Sprint Team for the World Championships. This time they were in Tasmania at Seven Mile Beach.

​Conditions were favourable for racing with cool water temperature, making it a wetsuit legal swim, and a bit of wind under perfect blue skies. We have 3 athletes take to the line with Tania Gover (40-44), Kelly Enright (30-34) and Drew Westbrook (45-49). All raced well with some great results including Tania talking too much before her race to miss the start. Oh well she raced hard to take out her category win. Drew finished 8th with Kelly in 9th in their respective categories. All picking up valuable points.
